Cantrell, Williams Rule U.K. Charts

Blu Cantrell topped the U.K. singles chart for a second week while Robbie Williams returned to the No. 1 berth on the album survey. Cantrell's "Breathe" featuring Sean Paul (Arista) withstood the challenge of four new entries in the top six to secure a second week at the top.

Ultrabeat's "Pretty Green Eyes" (All Around The World), a dance favorite largely unknown in the south of the country but hugely popular in the label's northern strongholds, debuted at No. 2 on the singles chart, while the Cheeky Girls scored a third novelty hit with "Hooray Hooray (It's A Cheeky Holiday)" (Multiply) at No. 3.

Former Take That member Mark Owen debuted at No. 4 with "Four Minute Warning" (Universal Island), marking a resumption of a solo career that previously achieved consecutive No. 3 hits with "Child" and "Clementine" in 1996-97. Owen's return follows his winning a celebrity version of the TV series "Big Brother" last year.

Also new to the top-10 singles chart were "Frontin'" by Pharrell Williams featuring Jay-Z (Arista) at No. 6 and "I'm In Heaven" by Jason Nevins presents UKNY (Free2Air/Incentive) at No. 9.

On the album chart, the catalyst for Williams' return to No. 1 (from last week's No. 17) with "Escapology" (EMI) was his run of three massive outdoor shows last week at London's Knebworth Park, at which he played for record-breaking crowds totaling 375,000. In a slow sales week, the chart's highest new entry was "Tour De France Soundtracks" by pioneering German synth act Kraftwerk at No. 21, the group's first appearance on the survey since 1991's "The Mix."

Europe-wide, Beyonce tops the European Top 100 Albums chart for a third week with "Dangerously in Love" (Columbia) and the Eurochart Hot 100 Singles survey for a fourth with "Crazy in Love."
