Cage, Smith To Share Screen 'Time'

Nicolas Cage and Will Smith are attached to star in and produce "Time Share," a comedy pitch by Mark Steilen that was picked up by Columbia Pictures.

"Time Share" follows two fathers who lock horns when they discover their families are booked into the same time-share on what should have been their dream vacation. Cage has been itching to do a project with Smith, and the two quickly fell for the idea, sources say.

The film will be produced by Cage and Norm Golightly via Saturn Films, Smith and James Lassiter through Overbrook Entertainment as well as John J. Strauss and Eric Tannenbaum.

Cage recently wrapped Columbia's "Ghost Rider" and next films "The Wicker Man" for director Neil LaBute. He next stars in Paramount's "The Weather Man." Smith most recently starred in Columbia's "Hitch."
