Busta, Bjork, Breeders Get 'Mod'

Busta Rhymes, Everlast, Bjork, Crash Test Dummies, and Curtis Mayfield (produced by Lauryn Hill) are among the acts featured on Elektra's soundtrack to "The Mod Squad," a film based on the '70s television show. The first single is Alana Davis' cover of Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home."

The soundtrack, due March 23, also includes the Breeders first recording since 1994 and a remake of Todd Rundgren's "Hello It's Me" by Gerald Levert Featuring Lil' Mo.

"The Mod Squad," starring Claire Danes, Omar Epps, and Giovanni Ribisi, opens April 1 in theaters across the U.S. The MGM film will be promoted in part by Levis, which has agreed to create an all-new clothing line inspired by the '60s look and attitude of the movie.
