The VMA dedication to the deceased "Back to Black" singer was led by men, some who knew her and some who simply admired her: friend Russell Brand, collaborator Tony Bennett, and inspired artist Bruno Mars.
Just hours after it was announced that Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain" would be the first single from the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" soundtrack, he was already talking about going to the movie's premiere.
Bruno Mars, Christina Perri, the Joy Formidable and Theophilus London are among the artists that have contributed tracks to the "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1" original soundtrack.
Whether Bruno Mars is Team Edward or Team Jacob (he actually told Billboard.com that he's "Team Bella all day" last week), the singer-songwriter is certainly hurting on "It Will Rain," the first single from the "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1" soundtrack that was released on Tuesday (Sept. 27).
Produced by the Smeezingtons (Mars' "Just The Way You Are," Cee Lo Green's "F--- You"), the moody track features Mars crooning about lost romance over sweeping strings. "There'll be no sunlight, if I lose you baby," Mars sings on the chorus, in a line that should get vampires everywhere cheering.

Speaking to Billboard.com about the track last week, Mars said, "The 'Twilight' movies for me (are) a love story. But it's a dark love story. And I think the best way to describe the song is: it's the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up."
The "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1" soundtrack will also feature songs by Christina Perri, the Joy Formidable, Theophilus London and the Belle Brigade, according to an official track list that was released on Monday. The soundtrack, which will be released on Nov. 8 through Summit/Chop Shop/Atlantic, follows three "Twilight" soundtracks that have moved 4.5 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
