Bolton Tunes Up Daytime Show

Comments

Could Michael Bolton be the next big player in daytime television? Bolton's manager, Louis Levin at Louis Levin Management, confirmed that the vocalist has been meeting with syndicators this week as he shops himself as host of a new daytime show targeted for premiere in fall 2005.

The show is aimed at viewers in the key daytime demographic of women 25-54. It's described as a mix of entertainment and topical issues, with contributors also making appearances.

Bolton has also lined up a string of summer and fall shows, beginning tomorrow (June 17) in Medford, Conn. He will join saxophonist Kenny G for five September dates in Holmdel, N.J., Wantagh, N.Y., Boston, Columbia, Md., and Clarkston, Mich.

The artist's latest album, "Vintage," was released in September 2003 via PMG. It topped out at No. 76 on The Billboard 200 and No. 5 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums tally.
