Lady Gaga's "The Fame" (Interscope/Universal) celebrates its first birthday on Billboard's European Albums survey by holding at No. 1. Her Interscope label mate Black Eyed Peas again tops European Hot 100 Singles with "Meet Me Halfway."

"The Fame" stays at No. 1 in Germany and Switzerland where, as in some other territories, its sales are combined with those of Lady Gaga's companion release of late 2009, "The Fame Monster." It's up 3-2 in France, making that move in reverse in the United Kingdom. In other markets, "The Fame Monster" has its own chart position, such as Ireland, where it's up 4-2; Italy, 9-7; and the Czech Republic, 20-7, all helping a 25-21 climb on the aggregate chart.

Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies)" holds at No. 2 on that list, retaining the top spot in France and racing 15-2 in Portugal. "Meet Me Halfway" falls from No. 1 in the Belgian regions of Flanders and Wallony, and 3-10 in the United Kingdom, but holds at No. 2 in Italy and No. 4 in Germany, Austria and France.

Susan Boyle's former European Albums No. 1 "I Dreamed A Dream" (Syco Music/Sony Music Entertainment) is steady at No. 3 this week, continuing at the summit in Holland and climbing 2-1 in Flanders and 4-2 in Denmark. Michael Bublé improves one place on the Europe-wide chart at No. 4 with "Crazy Love" (Reprise/Warner Music), trading places with Robbie Williams' "Reality Killed The Video Star" (Virgin/EMI), which holds at No. 3 in Denmark.

Alicia Keys moves 8-6 overall with "The Element of Freedom" (J/Sony Music Entertainment), holding at No. 3 in Switzerland and improving 23-11 in the United Kingdom. Keys has two singles from it in the U.K. top 40, "Doesn't Mean Anything" at No. 24 and "Empire State of Mind Part II" at No. 35. The earlier version of the track featuring Jay-Z remains in the top 20 there and climbs 13-7 in its 16th week on Hot 100 Singles.

Paolo Nutini's sophomore set "Sunny Side Up" (Atlantic/Warner Music) is steady at No. 7 on European Albums, again topping the U.K. chart thanks to widespread discounting. Total sales there since its release in late May last year are 860,000 to last weekend, and it also climbs 3-1 in Ireland.

Muse's "The Resistance" (Helium 3/Warner Music), which debuted atop the pan-European chart last September, is back up 9-8 in its 17th week, resting at No. 4 in France. Rihanna's "Rated R" (Def Jam/Universal) also climbs one place, 10-9, holding at No. 2 in Switzerland.

U.K. act Florence + the Machine, whose debut album "Lungs" (Universal Island) is up 6-2 in its 27th chart week there, sees the set reach a new pan-European peak, climbing 23-10. It's also up 12-5 in Ireland.
