Zach Galifianakis Disses Ke$ha
In the latest Rolling Stone cover story, Zach Galifianakis discusses, in addition to his apparent reluctance to fame, his run-ins with and negative feelings toward Kesha. "I saw that Ke$ha woman the other day [in a bar]," the "Hangover" star said, adding that the pop star had e-mailed him about getting a drink. "She was sitting by herself, and I walked up to her and said, 'Listen, I got your e-mail. Your music is really bad! I don't know who listens to it, but I imagine it's, like, six-year-olds -- and it's a bad message.'" (Rolling Stone)

How Alice Cooper Almost Killed Elvis
Glam rocker Alice Cooper has done a lot of ridiculous stuff throughout his career, but this might take the cake. In an interview with UK's the Mirror, Cooper tells the story of going up to the penthouse of a Las Vegas hotel -- on the way up, he rode in an elevator with Liza Minelli and porn actress Linda Lovelace -- to meet Elvis Presley. After being frisked for weapons by security, Cooper met Elvis in the kitchen, where the King handed Cooper a loaded pistol and told him to put it to his head. Cooper recounts how he actually debated pulling the trigger, but before he could, Presley kicked the gun out of his hands. Now that's rock'n'roll. (The Mirror)

'Fifth Beatle' Biopic Secures Funding, Music Rights
Stage producer Vivek Tiwary ("The Addams Family", "American Idiot") has landed unprecedented rights to Beatles songs for his debut film, "The Fifth Beatle," about manager Brian Epstein, whom Paul McCartney called the "fifth Beatle.""I have signed and fully executed a deal with Sony/ATV, who control the Lennon/McCartney music catalog, and I'm proud to report we will have Beatles music in our film," Tiwary said. Flavor Flav Spends an Estimated $5.7 Million On Drugs
Flavor Flav has written a tell-all memoir, "Flavor Flav: Icon," and he's holding nothing back. He's getting ready to marry his girlfriend of eight years -- the one he had the entire time his "reality" dating show was on the air -- but he has to make sure he's financially stable first. Maybe if he hadn't spent an estimated $5.7 million on drugs over the course of six years ($2600/day, by Flav's own calculations), he wouldn't have to worry about dropping those extra hundreds on a designer tux. Die Antwoord Collaborator DJ Leon Botha Dies
Cape Town visual artist and DJ Leon Botha passed away June 5, a day after his 26th birthday. In addition to opening for Die Antwoord during live shows, Botha was featured in the group's breakthrough video for "Enter the Ninja." Botha was born with progeria, a rare genetic disorder that accelerates the aging process. He was one of the world's oldest survivors of the condition. (Mail & Guardian)

Drake Bell Dropping New EP
Drake Bell, of Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh," will self-release his new EP, titled "A Reminder," on June 28 via digital outlets. First single "Terrific" on the John Fields-produced set will digitally drop June 14.
