Taylor Swift Says New Track is 'An Apology' to Taylor Lautner


"Back to December," the latest Taylor Swift song to be previewed off her upcoming "Speak Now" album, is apparently an apology to ex-boyfriend and "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner. "This is about a person who was incredible to me, just perfect to me in a relationship, and I was really careless with him," Swift explains. The country star and Lautner confirmed their break-up in December of 2009. ( PopEater)

 

Christina Aguilera Issues Statement About Marriage Troubles


After news broke of Christina Aguilera's split with husband Jordan Bratman earlier today, the singer confirmed the reports and offered a statement about the breakup. "Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever," Aguilera said in a statement. The couple was married in November 2005 and celebrated Max's birth in January 2008.  (People)

 

Kanye West Adds Verse To La Roux Remix

Kanye West has added a few rhymes to a remixed version of La Roux's single "In For The Kill." The synth-pop act has also been confirmed to make a guest appearance on the rapper's forthcoming fifth album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy." (EW)

 

Ghostface Killah Announces New Album


Ghostface Killah is set to release "Apollo Kids," his follow-up to last year's "Ghostdini: Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City," on Dec. 14.  The Wu-Tang Clan member also announced a 25-date U.S. tour, which includes a performance during New York's CMJ Music Marathon. ( Spin)

 

Soulja Boy Discusses Violent Shoot Out in Georgia Home


Soulja Boy revealed that he and a few unnamed friends engaged in a shoot out while the rapper was recording in his Georgia home last year. Soulja Boy, who said the act was in self-defense against three armed robbers, allegedly fired several rounds at the attackers. The rapper said that the incident was kept silent because his label, Interscope Records, who afraid of alarming his fan base. ( RapRadar)

 

Chromeo Readies 'Risky Business' Tour


Chromeo announced their dates for their "Risky Business" tour, which will kick off on Oct. 14 in Las Vegas and finish up Feb. 19 in Ponoma, CA.  The tour will support their just-released third album, "Business Casual," and will reach Europe, Australia and North America. ( Pitchfork)
