The Pixies' North American reunion tour will kick off with a newly announced April 13 show at Minneapolis' Fine Line Music Cafe. The show sold out this morning (March 11) within four minutes, according to a spokesperson. The next day, the quartet will head to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to begin two weeks of shows that will culminate May 1 at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.A European swing will keep the band on the road through July 11 at Scotland's T in the Park Festival. The Pixies' summer plans are still being decided, the spokesperson says.

Sister Hazel, Cowboy Mouth, the Pat McGee Band, Gavin DeGraw, and the Clarks are among the artists confirmed to set sail on Rock Boat 4. The annual music cruise will depart Oct. 7 from Miami for Grand Cayman in the Caribbean, returning Oct. 11. Also on board will be Jump Little Children, Michael Tolcher, Ingram Hill, Will Hoge and Pomeroy, among others. Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid will release a new album with his band Masque, "Known Unknown," May 4 via Steve Vai's Favored Nations label. The set features reinterpretations of Thelonious Monk's "Brilliant Corners" and Lee Morgan's "Sidewinder" alongside originals such as "Down & Out In Kigali and Freetown," "Outskirts" and "Flatbush & Church." DJ Logic guests on the cut "Voodoo Pimp Stroll."Living Colour is currently on tour in Europe. Reid will hit the road with Masque in North America upon his return, with shows currently set for May 20 in Boston, May 22 in Rochester, N.Y., and May 24 in Victoriaville, Quebec.
