Paul Carrack has signed with a new label, Nashville-based Compass Records. His album, "Satisfy My Soul," released on the artist's own label in the U.K. in June, will be released Sept. 12 by the label.
The album, featuring three tracks co-written with his former Squeeze bandmate Chris Difford, includes guest appearances by another former Squeeze member, current popular U.K. television host Jools Holland, and blues legend B.B. King.
Carrack, who has logged time in Squeeze and Mike + the Mechanics outside of his solo career, recently completed a U.K. tour that included a performance at the annual Glastonbury festival. As an oft-sought-after session player, he has appeared on albums by Roxy Music, Nick Lowe, John Hiatt, the Smiths, Roger Waters, and Eric Clapton, to name a few.
