New Michael Jackson Video, 'One More Chance,' Debuts Online


Four days after the release of the new Michael Jackson single, "Hold My Hand," a video for the previously released song "One More Chance" has debuted on the singer's web site. The unfinished clip for the R. Kelly-penned song, which was featured on his "Number Ones" album, was filmed in Las Vegas in 2003 and showcases Jackson performing on tabletops as a choir sings onstage. ( Michaeljackson.com)

 

 

Joan Baez Injured in Fall from Treehouse

 

Folk singer Joan Baez was hospitalized and treated for minor injuries in California on Wednesday after falling 20 feet from a treehouse on her property. Baez sleeps in the wall-less treehouse on nights with optimal weather. "My contact with nature and the moon and the birds and the trees, they mean so much to me," Baez told the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle last month. (Rolling Stone)   

 

Royksopp Announces North American Tour Dates

 

Norwegian electronic duo Royksopp will support their forthcoming electronic release, "Senior," with five North American dates in March 2011. The short trek kicks off March 11 in Toronto and will include stops in Montreal, New York City, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. "Senior," the follow-up to last year's "Junior," will be released Nov. 23.

 

Bret Michaels Soundtracks 'Top Gear' Promo

 

Bret Michaels is providing the promotional music for "Top Gear," the History Channel's version of the popular British car show, which debuts on Nov. 21. Michaels' music will be part of the trailer to promote the show, both on-air and online. In addition, he will be featured in a music video, and eventually the music will be on iTunes. Lollapalooza Expands Into Chile


Lollapalooza owners C3 Presents, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment and founder Perry Farrell will work with Chile's Lotus Producciones, to create a South American version of Lollapalooza this spring. The successful U.S. music fest will land in Santiago, Chile, April 2-3, 2011 at O'Higgins Park as the first Lollapalooza International. ( Billboard.biz)
