Mya will appear as herself on the July 24 episode of the NBC soap opera "Passions." She'll perform her new single "My Love Is Like...Wo," from her upcoming Interscope/A&M album "Moodring."The track is No. 37 in its second week on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart and just debuted at No. 81 on the Hot 100. The video can be seen through Mya's official Web site, which is also previewing the album with streaming audio tracks.
Due July 22, "Moodring" will be the follow-up to 2000's "Fear of Flying," which debuted at No. 7 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 15 on The Billboard 200. The set has sold 1.2 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Tim McGraw will stage a benefit concert Saturday (June 28) in Gulfport, Miss., at the Grand Casino Events Center. Proceeds from the show will go to Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre's Forward Foundation for disabled and disadvantaged children in Mississippi and Wisconsin.The show will take place after McGraw participates in Favre's annual Celebrity Golf Classic. Tickets for the concert are $50 and are available via Ticketmaster and the venue's box office.

Infamous political comedy/rock act the Fugs will play their first show in a decade July 16 at New York's Village Underground. The show will come a little more than a week after the release of "The Fugs Final CD (Part 1)," due July 8 from Artemis Records (the set was originally set for a May release).
"Final CD" is the group's 14th release, and first since the 1995 self-released live album "The Real Woodstock Festival." Led by Ed Sanders and Tuli Kupferberg, the band's new disc features such ditties as "Septuagenarian In Love" (set to Dion & the Belmonts' "Teenager in Love"), "Where Is My Wandering Jew?" and "A Short History of the Human Race."
