Country songstress Miranda Lambert's latest single, "Baggage Claim," has hit the net. The new track is the first single off her fourth full-length album, "Four the Record," dropping Nov. 1 through Columbia Nashville. (Taste of Country)

 

Cee Lo Green To Play Raekwon's Dad in Biopic
The script for "C.R.E.A.M.," a biopic about Wu-Tang Clan rapper Raekwon, is reportedly still being finalized, but R&B singer Cee Lo Green has already been cast as the rapper's father in the upcoming film. "[He"s] a good friend of mine," says Raekwon about Green. "When I called him and told him about it he was just overwhelmed. He's just one out of the greats that's gonna be on the project." ( XXL)

 

Delois Barrett Campbell, Gospel Singer, Dies at 85
Delois Barrett Campbell, a gospel legend was the oldest of the three singing Barrett Sisters, died Tuesday at a Chicago hospital at age 85, daughter Mary Campbell said. Delois Campbell's health had been deteriorating and she had been hospitalized at least twice in recent months. ( AP)

 

Feist Reveals Album Artwork, Tour Dates
Feist's upcoming album, "Metals," will be available Oct. 4, and the cover art for her third release features a barren tree in the shape of an "F," displayed before a picturesque background. The album preorder can be bundled with tickets for Feist's first round of European and North American tour dates, starting Oct. 15 in Amsterdam, Holland and hitting the U.S. on Oct. 29 in Philadelphia, Pa. Limited Edition Beastie Boys Action Figures On Sale For Charity
The Spike Jonze-directed video for the Beastie Boys' "Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win" premiered last month, and now the action figures that stared in the video are for sale on the band's website. The miniature versions of each band member come in limited-edition sets, with jumpsuits, safety goggles, stickers and more. ( Pitchfork

 

Deftones Frontman Starts Witch House Project
