Due to necessary paperwork not being completed in time, Massive Attack has pulled out of its headlining slot at this weekend's Virgin Festival at Toronto's Islands Park. "In spite of timely and coordinated efforts, the essential U.S. immigration visas were not issued in time for the beginning of the Massive Attack North American tour," the band's management said in a statement on its Web site.
Dates in Montreal (Sept. 11), Detroit (Sept. 12) and Chicago (Sept. 13) have been postponed but will be rescheduled. Massive Attack's remaining North American tour dates should be unaffected.
Broken Social Scene will replace Massive Attack at the Virgin Festival on a bill that also features the Strokes, the Raconteurs, Wolfmother, Thrice and Jose Gonzalez.
Rock act Coheed & Cambria will on Oct. 31 release its second concert DVD, "The Last Supper: Live at Hammerstein Ballroom." The Columbia/Equal Vision effort was filmed at during May 20 show at the New York venue and is bundled with behind-the-scenes footage, three music videos and interviews with band members.
Coheed & Cambria's most recent album, "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV, Vol. 1: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness," peaked last year at No. 7 on The Billboard 200.

Newly reunited punk outfit Slits will unveil their first new recordings since 1981 shortly before their first tour in more than two decades. "The Revenge of the Killer Slits EP" will hit stores Oct. 17 via SAF. The set will feature Slits members Ari Up and Tessa Pollitt, plus Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook, Adam & the Ants guitarist Marco Pirroni and vocals from Up's and Pollitt's daughters.
Touring will commence Oct. 25 at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia, continuing through Nov. 26 at the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago. Additionally, the group will perform at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York on Nov. 1.
The Slits broke up shortly after their second full-length was released in 1981.
