Billboard Bits: Mary J. Blige, Saliva, iTunes Latino

Although the track list has yet to be announced, Mary J. Blige will be the subject of a new retrospective, "Reflections: The Journey," due Dec. 12 via Geffen. The mix of old favorites and previously unreleased tracks will be previewed by the new song "We Ride," which will hit U.S. radio outlets this week.

Another new song, "Never Gonna Break My Faith," was recorded by Blige and Aretha Franklin for the film "Bobby," which arrives Nov. 23 in U.S. theaters. However, it is unclear if the Bryan Adams-penned track will appear on "Reflections: The Journey."

In advance of yet-to-be announced holiday performances, Blige is part of the (Product) Red advertising campaign to promote a global fund for AIDS victims.

Rock act Saliva will return Jan. 23 with its next Island album, "Blood Stained Love Story." First single "Ladies and Gentlemen" will debut tomorrow (Nov. 2) at No. 36 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. The new album is the follow-up to 2004's "Survival of the Sickest," which has sold 179,000 copes in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Saliva will begin a month-long fall tour Nov. 16 in Rockford, Ill., and will also play radio station-sponsored concerts in Seattle, Keystone, Colo., and Kansas City, Mo., through mid-December.
