Billboard Bits: Madonna, Irie Jamboree, The Like

MadonnaMadonna's "all dance" new album, "Confessions on a Dancefloor," will be released Nov. 15 via Warner Bros. According to her official Web site, first single "Hung Up" will hit U.S. radio outlets on Oct. 17. That track was produced by Stuart Price, who previously served as the musical director on Madonna's 2004 Re-Invention tour.

"Confessions on a Dancefloor" is the follow-up to 2003's critically maligned album "American Life," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200, but posted the lowest sales of any Madonna album to-date (657,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan).
