Billboard Bits: Lady Gaga, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Greg Dulli and More

Lady Gaga wants to put jimmy hats on her fans' little monsters as she joins with fashion designer Jeremy Scott to promote his Proper Attire line of prophylactics. "It's not complicated, just a fashion statement," Lady Gaga said in a press release about the collaboration. "Everybody wrap it up with Jeremy Scott for Proper Attire condoms." According to MTV, the condoms come in three varieties (studded, ribbed and sheer), and proceeds from sales will benefit Planned Parenthood.

Former Afghan Whigs mainman Greg Dulli is nearing completion on the latest album by his band the Twilight Singers, and plans to release the new material on Sub Pop this summer. "There's a duet with Ani DiFranco," Dulli tells Spin. "Petra Haden is on three songs and she sings a duet with me. I'm gonna record Lisa Kekaula from the Bellrays when I get back to California."

Depeche Mode founding keyboardist Alan Wilder joined his former bandmates on stage for the first time in more than 16 years. According to Slicing Up Eyeballs, Wilder accompanied accompany Martin Gore on piano during a performance of "Somebody" at a Teenage Cancer Trust charity concert at London's Royal Albert Hall.

John Hughes worked on a script for a film based on the Cure song "The Lovecats" following the completion of "The Breakfast Club," according to a Vanity Fair interview with Molly Ringwald. "He gave me a mix tape of what the soundtrack was gonna be," she said. "Which was pretty much Dave Brubeck, with the last song by Bob Dylan."

Courtney Love finally debuted the newest incarnation of her band Hole at a London show. According to NME, the first gig under the band name in 11 years saw Love play a series of Hole classics alongside new material from forthcoming album 'Nobody's Daughter'.
