Rihanna Premiering New Single on Tuesday


Less than a year removed from the release of "Rated R," Rihanna is set to premiere a new single from her upcoming fifth album on Tuesday (Sept. 7). "Only Girl (In the World)," which was produced by "Rude Boy" production team Stargate, will debut at 6 AM EST on RyanSeacrest.com. The singer is also currently filming big-budget action flick, "Battleship." (RyanSeacrest)

In the upcoming New York-themed issue of fashion magazine V, Lady Gaga poses as the Statue of Liberty in her bra and underwear. The pop star holds a burning paper torch while designer Marc Jacobs sits close by in a tuxedo. (DailyFill)



Spice Girls Musical in Pre-Production

"Viva Forever," a musical based on the Spice Girls' music, is now in pre-production. The plot will revolve around a reality TV show and offer "a glimpse of the underbelly of TV talent shows," says producer Judy Craymer. 14 of the pop group's songs will be performed during the show. Panic! at the Disco Takes On 'Little Shop of Horrors'


Brendon Urie and Dallon Weekes of pop-rock group Panic! at the Disco have covered a track from "Little Shop of Horrors," the classic musical and 1986 film, according to Spin. The duo's take "Skid Row" has been posted as a free download on the band's web site. Panic! is currently prepping their third album and first without primary songwriter Ryan Ross. Ne-Yo Reveals 'Libra Scale' Album Cover


Ne-Yo has issued the artwork to his forthcoming disc "Libra Scale," set for release Oct. 19, according to RapRadar. The touched-up cover finds the R&B singer standing on the rooftop of a building while tight-dressed figures strike some karate poses. (RapRadar)


Curren$y and Big K.R.I.T. Announce Co-Headlining Tour


Underground rappers Curren$y, Big K.R.I.T. and Smoke DZA have revealed a fall tour that kicks off tomorrow (Sept. 4) at Brooklyn and ends on Halloween in Richmond, Va., Pitchfork reports. K.R.I.T. also had four dates alongside Wiz Khalifa in September, including a stop in Philadelphia on Sept. 16. (Pitchfork)
