The Killers are taking an extended hiatus from recording and touring, as soon as they wrap-up its upcoming Australian trek. According to an interview with guitarist Dave Keuning, the band has been in constant motion for nearly six years and is in urgent need of a break. "I'm not sure if people are aware of it but this is probably our last shows for a while," Keuning told the Sydney Morning Herald. But when asked if the band is breaking up for good, Keuning was less than definitive. "Not as far as I know," he said.

According to TMZ, current DJ Chris Kilmore filed for a restraining order against former DJ Gavin Koppel after the jilted turntablist threatened to kill him last month.
