A pair of new songs by international pop star Kylie Minogue will appear on the "Ultimate Kylie" compilation, due Feb. 1 via Capitol in the United States. The 32-track set will boast the new single "I Believe In You," which written and recorded by the artist with Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears and Babydaddy, as well as the previously unreleased "Giving You Up."

The collection spans Minogue's career from her 1987 hit cover of "The Loco-Motion" through to "Slow," a single from this year's "Body Language" that is nominated for a best dance recording Grammy award.

"This collection is very dear to me and holds a lifetime of memories," Minogue says. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to experiment throughout the years and that my fans have embraced my need to try new approaches... At this point in my career I'm very happy to celebrate the past and look forward to the future."

As expected, the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex has setup a handful of early 2005 tour dates, kicking off Jan. 10 in Los Angeles. At deadline, just five dates were confirmed for the outing, which will wrap where it begins Jan. 24 at L.A.'s Knitting Factory, with a few more dates expected.

As previously reported, the band is led by its namesake, the former drummer of the Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan. The band's 11-track debut, "Life Begins Again," is due Jan. 25 via Sanctuary.

Instrumental jam band Sound Tribe Sector 9 has completed "ARTiFACT," its fourth studio album, which is due in February via its own 1320 Records label. The set is an extension of the band's compelling live show, both defined and improvised, which has earned STS9 a devoted fanbase.

The band plans to close out 2004 with a Dec. 30-31 stand at Tabernacle in Atlanta. Prior to the album's release, the band will play on the annual Caribbean Jam Cruise, which sails Jan. 6 from Jacksonville, Fla. A land-based tour is due to kick off Jan. 28-29 in Santa Cruz, Calif.
