Justin Bieber Meets The Dead

Justin Bieber appears to have spent his Friday afternoon hanging out with Grateful Dead founding member Bob Weir.  A photo posted to Weir's Twitter account shows the grizzled jam rocker posing with the 16-year-old pop star, who is flashing his signature finger-pointing pose.  No word on why the two were together, but Bieber alluded to the fact that he was changing up his usual routine earlier on his own Twitter page.  "BIG DAY today...excited. Doing something new." (Jambands.com

Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' Single Debuts

Katy Perry's next single is officially available for listening. The title track from the  Billboard cover star's upcoming "Teenage Dream" album leaked online Thursday afternoon, just one day after she unveiled the album's cover, a painting of her laying semi-nude in clouds of cotton candy. Perry teamed with hitmakers Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco and Max Martin for "Dream," which officially hit iTunes today and is the follow-up to her No. 1 hit and certified summer anthem, "California Gurls."

Swizz Beats Talks Alicia Keys Wedding Rumors

Swizz Beatz will not be marrying Alicia Keys this weekend, contrary to rumors. The producer spoke with OK! during the New Music Seminar this week in New York and clarified that he and his pregnant fiancee will tie the knot soon, but not that soon. Swizz also looked forward to being a parent with Keys in the near future. "Children, you know, they're a blessing and I'm very excited," he said, adding, "I think she's going to be an amazing mom because she's an amazing person. If youre an amazing person, it all equals the same thing." (OK!

'Rock Band' Teams Up with Juanes

Colombian rocker Juanes will become the first artist with Spanish-language tracks available for play in Harmonix and MTV Games' "Rock Band" video game. Juanes' hits "A Dios le Pido," "Fíjate Bien," "Gotas de Agua Dulce," "La Camisa Negra," "Mala Gente" and "Yerbatero" will become available for purchase as extra downloadable content for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 3 from the Rock Band music store July 27, and July 28 on the PlayStation 3 in Europe. Another Juanes hit, "Me Enamora," will come included with "Rock Band 3" in October.

Lupe Fiasco Fans Want 'Lasers'

Lupe Fiasco fans don't want to wait for the rapper's next album, the oft-delayed "Lasers," any longer. An online petition addressed to Atlantic Records and demanding the release of "Lasers" surfaced after the rapper tweeted on July 13, "Lasers is out of my hands guys and gals…it's done and that's all I can tell you…when they drop it…they drop it…so drop it." At press time, over 9,000 fans have added their signature, and Fiasco is now encouraging more of his followers to rise up: "I wake up to mass protest!!!...Tdsahank Ya'll…By Any Means Necessary! Keep It Going #WeWantLasers." (MTV UK
