Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam recording artist Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella president Damon Dash hosted a private listening session for Jay-Z's forthcoming album, "The Dynasty," at New York's Sony Studios last night (Oct. 16). The 16-track set, which features high-profile guest spots from Scarface (on "This Can't B Life"), Snoop Dogg (on "Get Your Mind Right Mami") and R. Kelly (on "Guilty Until Proven Innocent"), is the rapper's fifth album in five years. It will be released on Oct. 31.
"The Dynasty" features production from Bink, Just Blaze, the Neptunes, and Rockwilder, and sports additional guest appearances from Roc-A-Fella camp members Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, Amil, and DJ Clue. The set's first single, "Give It To Me," is at No. 28 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart this week.
