Lady Gaga Says New Album is 'Almost Perfect'

Lady Gaga Tweeted early yesterday (Nov. 17) that "Born This Way," her album slated for a release during 2011's first half, is "almost perfect." The Mother Monster said: "Endless melodies, hooks, + poetry sledge-hammering my skull. It won't be much longer, its almost perfect. But I (we) don't want almost." No, we don't. Keep to it, Gaga. Eminem Likened Prescription Drug Addiction to Michael Jackson's

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, Eminem compares his previous addiction to prescription drugs to that of Michael Jackson, consuming 60-90 pills daily during its worst stage. "It's very similar to what I've read about Michael," he said. "I don't know exactly what he was doing, but I read that he kept getting up in the middle of the night, asking for more (drugs). That's what I was doing." Em added that he wasn't even taking drugs including Vicodin and Valium to get high after several years -- he was "taking them to get normal." (NME, Rolling Stone)

Britney Spears To Get Reality Show?

Rumors are afloat that Britney Spears is in negotiations to star in a reality show about the production of her new album. The show will also give an inside look at how the pop star lives day to day in the eye of the paparazzi, which was the successful angle of her MTV documentary, "For The Record." (Perez Hilton)

J.Lo and Marc Anthony Launch His-and-Hers Kohl's Lines

Married couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will apply their combined star power to the launch of his-and-hers contemporary "lifestyle brands" for Kohl's Department Stores. The Lopez and Anthony brands will initially launch women's and men's apparel and accessories and may expand into other products. The products will be available in Kohl's stores nationwide and online beginning in fall 2011. ( Billboard.biz)

Akon Won't Release Unfinished MJ Tracks

Akon recently stated that he will not released unfinished Michael Jackson tracks that he and the King of Pop worked on before the singer's untimely death. While some of the songs on the upcoming "Michael" disc were pieced together from demos Jackson had started, Akon assures that the album's first single "Hold My Hand" was completed before Jackson died and both were pleased with the outcome.
