Billboard Bits: Dinosaur Jr., Mixtape Inc.

The original lineup of alternative rock troupe Dinosaur Jr. are taking to the road this spring/summer in support of their forthcoming effort "Beyond." Lou Barlow, J Mascis and Murph will be playing multiple dates in only 10 cities, including New York, Chicago, Seattle and Ann Arbor, Mich. The stint begins May 11 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, Calif., and runs through June 7 at Irving Plaza in New York.

A one-off performance, billed J Mascis and Friends, is slated for May 10 at the Casbah in San Diego.

Barlow's recently reunited post-Dino Jr. project, Sebadoh, is currently on tour.

As previously reported, the reunited group will be releasing "Beyond" on May 11 via Fat Possum. It will be Dinosaur Jr.'s first record since 1989 crafted by the founding trio.
