New Daft Punk music has surfaced, courtesy of the latest trailer for the forthcoming "Tron Legacy" film. According to Spinner, Daft Punk are also reportedly making a cameo in the film alongside recent Oscar-winner Jeff Bridges, who starred in the original "Tron" in 1982.

Beck's latest group of guest musicians who've stopped by his studio to record a cover of an entire album includes St. Vincent, Liars, and Os Mutantes. According to Pitchfork, the album getting the Record Club treatment reamains a mystery, by St. Vincent told fans in a tweet, "It will be online soonish. Serious fun."

Faith No More's first confirmed East Coast reunion show will take place in Brooklyn, N.Y. this summer, according to Brooklyn Vegan. The July 5 show, the first paid concert in the waterfront park, will benefit the Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn, which helps organize free concerts there every summer.

Billy Corgan is once again holding open audtions to find two new replacement members for the Smashing Pumpkins, just as he did last year to replace drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. According to SPIN, Corgan is seeking a bassist to replace Ginger Pooley, and a keyboard player who "can play in the prog-rock style of [Deep Purple's] Jon Lord and [Yes'] Rick Wakeman."

Yesterday (Mar. 9) was the anniversary of rapper the Notorious B.I.G.'s death, and friend and cohort Diddy rounded up some friends for a celebration of Biggie's life and work. According to MTV, the rapper brought together Rick Ross, Fabolous, Red Café and Busta Rhymes, and headed out to the nightspot The Lab in Biggie's hometown of Brooklyn, N.Y.
