Conan O'Brien Teams with Jack White for Two Releases

 

Conan O'Brien has paired up with rock-star buddy Jack White for two releases, set to hit stores on Aug. 24 via White's Third Man Records, Spin reports. "Live at Third Man" features the comedian's June 10 performance on his "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour" at White's Third Man complex in Nashville, as well as a duet with White on a cover of Eddie Cochran's "20 Flight Rock." Meanwhile, 7-inch single "And They Call Me Mad?" showcases O'Brien's improvised retelling of the Frankenstein legend on Side A, and an interview with Conan - conducted by White - on Side B. T.I. Working On Cartoon Series

 

T.I. revealed that he is producing a cartoon TV series called "Lil' Homies" on "The Morning After with Angela Yee" radio show. While the show does not have a network yet, the rapper said that he would be open to contributing his vocal talents as a "voiceover, like a narrator." ( Rap Radar)

 

Weezer Planning 'Pinkerton' Tour?

 

Weezer guitarist Brian Bell said that he hopes the band embarks on a special tour coinciding with the Oct. 5 reissue of 1996 disc "Pinkerton," Rolling Stone reports. "I'm praying for a 'Pinkerton' tour, where we'll play all the songs off 'Pinkerton,' soon," said Bell. Weezer, which will release new album "Hurley" on Sept. 14 and is working on a rarities compilation called "Death to False Metal," has banished "Pinkerton" from their recent set lists due to frontman Rivers Cuomo's apparent disdain of the record. Keri Hilson 'Breaking' Out With New Song

 

Keri Hilson debuted a new song, "Breaking Point," on Atlanta radio on Wednesday (Aug. 18), according to MTV.com. The Timbaland-produced track is Hilson's first offering from forthcoming sophomore disc "No Boys Allowed," due out late this year. ( MTV.com)


Kanye's Bieber Remix Almost Finished

 

Kanye West tweeted this morning (Aug. 19) that he's almost finished remixing the Justin Bieber track "Runaway Love," which features Wu-Tang Clan rapper Raekwon. "Finishing @JustinBieber Runaway Love remix too... don't know when they gonna drop it but Raekwon's verse is crazy!!!" the rapper said on Twitter. Raekwon confirmed that the collaboration was in the works yesterday (Aug. 18).


The Morning Benders Announce Headlining Tour

 

The Morning Benders have announced a fall North American headlining tour. The group will begin their trek in Dallas on Oct. 9 and end in New York City on Nov. 18.
