Beyonce to Debut Third Fragrance This Fall
Beyonce will launch a third fragrance, Pulse, a floral citrus-scented perfume that represents her stage persona.  "Women always tell me that my music makes them feel strong and confident, and Pulse is about finding that inner power," she says. The fragrance, which comes with a fashionable upside-down cap, hits stores in September. ( Elle)

 

Linkin Park Promises to 'Polarize' with New Album
Linkin Park is planning to follow last year's "A Thousand Suns" with a fifth album that explores controversial topics.  "We've learned how to deal with politics, faith and other things," Chester Bennington said about the album, which the band has been working on for two months.  "It will probably get a very polarized reaction." (NME)

 

Morrissey Debuts Three New Songs
Morrissey paid a visit to BBC Radio 2 yesterday and played three new songs. "Action is My Middle Name" begins around minute 16 in the broadcast, "The Kid's a Looker" is around minute 33 and "People Are the Same Everywhere" turns up around minute 46. The songs were the first new material from Morrissey since 2009's "Year of Refusal." (BBC)

 

Scissor Sisters Head to Fraggle Rock
Having just dazzled their fans at Bonnaroo, two members of the New York glam rock group Scissor Sisters have agreed to score the upcoming "Fraggle Rock" movie. Frontman Jake Shears and guitarist Babydaddy will compose the film based on the classic kids TV show.


Bon Iver Returns to the Woods for 'Calgary' Video
Justin Vernon snuck away to his father's Wisconsin cabin to create Bon Iver's breakthrough debut, "For Emma, Forever Ago." Now Vernon returns to the woods for "Calgary," the first video off his sophomore set, "Bon Iver, Bon Iver." Watch the Vernon-penned clip below, which finds a young couple making its way through the forest, and later there's a birth. Anything more than that is up for interpretation. 

 

 

CyHi the Prynce Releases "Royal Flush 2" Mixtape
"Royal Flush" was a trending topic on Twitter in Atlanta today after hip-hop artist CyHi the Prynce released his fifth mixtape, "Royal Flush 2." Signed to Def Jam and Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music Group, CyHi features B.o.B, Big Sean, Trey Songz, Pill and more on his latest 16-track mixtape, which is available for free online. (Download)
