50 Cent's House Burgled By Wine Lover

Two men broke into 50 Cent's Connecticut mansion this morning and were arrested by police after security guards had tipped them off about the disturbance. One of the burglars was found hiding in a closet, drinking a bottle of wine that he had pilfered from the rapper. Both men are being held on $50,000 bond. ( TMZ)

 

Lady Gaga Groped by Fan in Paris

While in Paris during a photo-op, Lady Gaga was photographed being groped by a female fan, who copped a feel of the singer's breast as she was passing by. Perhaps the fan was also "furious and devastated" that Gaga had to cancel her Paris concert on Sunday night due to inclement weather. ( Radar Online)

 

Britney Spears 'Very Professional' While Working on Album, Says Producer Shellback


Swedish producer Shellback is currently working with Britney Spears' forthcoming album, which he says has been a fairly easy process due to the pop star's recording experience. "[Britney]'s actually damn professional," says Shellback, who confirms that the album will be released in March 2011. "She's done it since she was 16. And just rhythmic way, she is f--king awesome!" Wiz Khalifa Announces New Single, 'Roll Up'

Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa will follow his breakthrough single "Black and Yellow" with "Roll Up," presumably a new ode to marijuana. "Really, I just needed another single and we were trying to come up with a look and then me and [my manager] talked about it," says the rapper, whose debut album is slated for a March 2011 release. "We talked about it for three minutes. And then I came up with that song." ( MTV)

 

Das Racist, James Blake, Sondre Lerche Added to SXSW Lineup


The 2011 South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival has added a batch of bands to its lineup. Brooklyn rap trio Das Racist, English electronic wunderkind James Blake and Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche join dozens of other acts heading to Austin, Texas from March 16-20, 2011.

 

Levon Helm Fully Recovered from Hospital Stay


Legendary musician and former The Band drummer Levon Helm is reportedly in great spirits after being admitted to a hospital last Thursday after contracting a slight cold, which was complicated by his COPD condition. He returned home and played a show at the Ramble in Woodstock, NY on Saturday.
