Leave it to some (non) baby mama drama to boost Beyonce up Billboard's Social 50 chart this week, as the expectant mother strolls from No. 35 to No. 15 on the tally. During the tracking week that ended Jan. 1, Beyonce's official Twitter account ( @beyonce) saw a 146% gain in followers (despite how she's yet to Tweet a single missive) after false rumors started to
swirl on Dec. 27 that she had gone into labor. The "Baby Boy" singer has yet to give birth.

The Social 50 chart's rankings are determined by activity monitored on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and iLike, using a formula that blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays.

Beyonce's No. 15 ranking this week is her highest on the chart since back on the tally dated Sept. 24, 2011, when she was at No. 14.

Also moving up the Social 50 chart is the Black Eyed Peas, which zoom 43-22. The jump could be owed to the Internet buzz generated by two of the quartet's most visible members: will.i.am and Fergie. The former performed his new single "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)" on ABC's "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve with Ryan Seacrest" special on Dec. 31. His Pea partner Fergie co-hosted the show with Seacrest. The group earned a 13% increase in Facebook fans during the week, while their total Twitter followers jumped by 36%.

Back up at the top of the chart, Justin Bieber continues to hold down the No. 1 slot, while Rihanna jumps 4-2 with a 13% gain in Facebook fans and a 9% increase in Twitter followers. Adele slips 2-3 while Eminem moves down one spot to No. 4. Shakira is non-mover at No. 5, while Lady Gaga climbs 10-6. Gaga -- like Fergie and will.i.am -- was a "Rockin' Eve" participant, performing live in New York City's Times Square during the broadcast.

Closing out the top 10 are LMFAO, Pitbull, Katy Perry and Chris Brown, who all fall one space each, at Nos. 7-10, respectively.
