Ministry Of Sound is set to release the second volume in its "Club Nation America" series, a two-disc compilation of popular dance tracks. Due Sept. 24, the set, which will retail for $20.98, features material from such artists as Daniel Bedingfield, Mary J. Blige, Res, and DJ Sammy & Yanou.
Among the 24 tracks will be a number of songs that topped Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play tally, including Bedingfield's "Gotta Get Thru This," the Thunderpuss remix of Blige's "No More Drama," Robbie Rivera's vocal mix of Res' "They Say Vision," the Flatline Fifth Avenue vocal mix of Funky Green Dogs' "You Got Me," and the Eric Morillo Vs. Who Da Funk? remix of Modjo's "Lady (Hear Me Tonight)."
The first "Club Nation America" set was released last spring and has sold approximately 60,000 units to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The compilation peaked at No. 46 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and featured such artists as Delerium, Paul van Dyk, and BT, plus remixes of popular tunes from the likes of Moby and Fatboy Slim.
