Barbra Bequeaths Duets Disc

What do Frank Sinatra, Barry Gibb, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Barry Manilow, Donna Summer, Ray Charles, and Don Johnson have in common? They've each over the years have recorded collaborations with Barbra Streisand that will be featured on her new album, "Duets," due Nov. 26 from Columbia Records.

The 17-track disc includes two newly recorded tunes -- "All I Know of Love" and first single "I Won't Be the One To Let Go" with Barry Manilow. The latter is available today (Nov. 4) as a preview exclusively on AOL Music's "First Listen" program.

"Duets" contains most of Streisand's best-known vocal collaborations, including "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" with Neil Diamond and "Guilty" with the Bee Gees' Barry Gibb. Some tunes were taken from television appearances ("Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again" with Judy Garland on "The Judy Garland Show" in 1963; "Cryin' Time" with Ray Charles, from a 1972 broadcast of "Just For the Record...") or movie soundtracks ("Lost Inside of You" with Kris Kristofferson from 1976's "A Star Is Born" and "I Finally Found Someone" with Bryan Adams from 1996's "The Mirror Has Two Faces").

Streisand, who retired from musical performance two years ago, is the most successful female recording artist of all time, with 47 albums certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for 500,000 copies shipped in the U.S. Her most recent album release, last year's "Christmas Memories," peaked at No. 15 on The Billboard 200 last December and has sold 759,000 copies to date in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
