"In Performance at the White House: Fiesta Latina," will be taped live by Washington D.C. television station WETA Oct. 13 and will air as a one-hour PBS special on October 15. It will also be broadcast on Spanish language network Telemundo and on the V-me network.

Confirmed talent to date includes Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony, Jose Feliciano, Aventura, Tito "El Bambino," Sheila E., Los Lobos and Thalia. The hosts for the evening will be George Lopez and Jimmy Smits.

"Fiesta Latina" is part of  the WETA "In Performance at the White House" series, which the station has produced since 1978 and has spanned every presidential administration since President Carter's. "Fiesta Latina" will be the second "In Performance" under Barack Obama's presidency. The first was dedicated to the music of Stevie Wonder.

Executive producers for "Fiesta Latina" are Dalton Delan and David S. Thompson of WETA and Tim Swift of Bounce, a division of AEG.
