Over the past five years, Backstreet Boys have released two albums and joined New Kids on the Block for a world tour as NKOTBSB. But something wasn't quite right. All this time, someone was missing: Kevin Richardson, the boy band's fifth member, who departed the group in 2006 after helping them score hits like "I Want It That Way," "All I Have To Give" and "The Call."

On Tuesday (Oct. 25), BSB diehards finally got their wish for a full reunion, as Richardson announced that he will be appearing with the rest of Backstreet Boys at a special concert in the Bahamas on Dec. 3. The show will take place on the boy band's second annual cruise, SS Backstreet, which runs from Dec. 2-5.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Richardson also hinted that he would be up to a more extensive reunion with his former group. "I would never say that it would never happen," says Richardson. "I would love to perform with them again on a more regular basis. Our chemistry when we come together just feels like old times."

BSB member Howie Dorough's debut solo album, "Back To Me," will be released Nov. 15, and Backstreet Boys just announced a slew of new dates on the NKOTBSB tour, which heads to the United Kingdom on April 20, 2012. Will Richardson be there to turn the nine-person boy band supergroup into a 10-person boy band supergroup? Only time will tell.
