Anger Management Tour Bus Crashes, Tonight's Show On

A bus carrying performers bound for tonight's (July 14) Denver stop on the Eminem/50 Cent Anger Management tour crashed into two tractor-trailers last night on I-70 near Odessa, Mo. Among the injured were up-and-coming rapper Stat Quo, who was briefly hospitalized and then released, and Eminem's DJ, Alchemist, who is recovering at a hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

According to a police report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, the trouble began when the tour bus, which was traveling at a "high rate of speed," swerved onto the highway shoulder to avoid colliding with the tractor-trailers. The bus then swung back onto the highway, striking one of the tractor-trailers and pushing it across the median and into the opposite side of traffic.

After hitting the second tractor-trailer, the bus overturned and spun into the highway median. Two cars and two motorcycles then struck a portion of the bus that was sticking into the other side of the highway. A portion of I-70 was closed for more than two hours while the accident was cleaned up.

Eminem was not on the bus at the time of the crash. Tonight's show at the Pepsi Center, which will also feature Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz, D12, Bizarre and G-Unit, among others, will still go off as planned.
