Vonda Shepard, known for her weekly musical contributions to the Fox television series "Ally McBeal," is joined by Macy Gray and several of the show's cast members on the new holiday compilation, "A Very Ally Christmas." Due out Nov. 7 on Epic, the set is the third album in a series centered around the show, following 1998's "The Songs Of Ally McBeal" and last year's "Heart And Soul: New Songs From Ally McBeal."

As on past albums and the show itself, Shepard performs a number of covers, which this time around include such holiday classics as "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow," "This Christmas," "Please Come Home For Christmas," and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."

Also featured on the set is Macy Gray's previously unreleased take on "Winter Wonderland," recorded in 1998, as well as several musical turns by members of the show's ensemble cast. Calista Flockhart, who portrays McBeal on the show, delivers a rendition of "Santa Baby," while co-stars Jane Krakowski and Lisa Nicole Carson perform of "Run, Rudolph, Run" and "Santa Claus Got Stuck In My Chimney."

Series newcomer Robert Downey Jr. contributes two songs to the set -- Joni Mitchell's "River" and a duet with Shepard on "White Christmas."
