Al Green, Graham Parker Sets Bow New Arista Series

Comments

Newly collected material by Al Green, Graham Parker, and the Thompson Twins will launch Arista Records' Heritage series collection. The first ten digitally remastered, value-priced compilations will arrive in stores Tuesday; they will cover the careers of the best rock, R&B, and soul artists signed to the imprint throughout its 25-year history.

Of special note is Green's set, which will include his out-of-print early recordings and two previously unreleased tracks ("What's It All About" and "A Lover's Hideaway").

Among the other artists represented in this first wave of releases are Taylor Dayne, the 5th Dimension, Hall & Oates, Exposé, Phyllis Hyman, the Alan Parsons Project, and the Jeff Healey Band. Each compilation will carry a suggested retail price of $9.98.
