'80s Rock Never Stops On Tour

Comments

Pop metal bands that ruled the airwaves during the 1980s are teaming up for the 2003 version of the Rock Never Stops tour. Headlined by the David Coverdale-led Whitesnake, the 27-date North American trek will also feature Warrant, Kip Winger, and Slaughter.

The run will kick off July 11 in Manchester, N.H., and is slated to close Aug 24 in Hamilton, Ontario. VH1 Classic will sponsor the tour.

This is not the first time that Warrant and Slaughter have appeared with the Rock Never Stops tour. The groups were part of inaugural 1998 package, which also featured Quiet Riot, Firehouse, and L.A. Guns. Slaughter also took part in the 1999 version with Ted Nugent, Night Ranger, and Quiet Riot

The 2002 version boasted Tesla, Motley Crue's Vince Neil, Jackyl, and Skid Row. For more information, visit the tour Web site
