Raekwon Feat. Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah & Method Man, "House Of Flying Daggers"

The first official taste of Raekwon's long-delayed "Only Built for Cuban Linx Pt. II," "Daggers" is an intoxicating posse cut that recalls the verbal weaponry of Wu-Tang Clan's early days. Over a grinding beat courtesy of the late J Dilla, Raekwon and company work like a tag team and drop unhinged punchlines for a breathless four minutes. Inspectah Deck starts the track off sounding hungrier than ever, and while Ghostface Killah and Method Man provide equally polished verses, Raekwon snags the best line with "Bury me in Africa/With whips and spears and rough diamonds out of Syria." Immediately restoring the focused wordplay that separates the Clan from the rest of hip-hop, "Daggers" is another great Wu head-banger and a promising sign for a long-awaited album.  --Jason Lipshutz
