Keith Urban continues the winning streak of his "Defying Gravity" album's first two singles ("Sweet Thing" and "Kiss a Girl") with "Only You Can Love Me This Way," an affectionate ballad that could easily be a wedding song. "We can roll with the punches, we can stroll hand in hand/ And when I say it's forever, you understand," Urban sings on the tune, which is making its way up the Hot Country Songs chart. The lovestruck lyrics are co-written by Steve McEwan and John Reid, and Urban's genteel inflections are enhanced by light production and soft guitar strums. The most affecting moment comes halfway through "Love Me This Way," when a bango and an E-bow produce the sound of a bow on strings as the country star reaches for his falsetto with an "Ooh." --Michael Menachem
