Gary Clark Jr.
Title: TBA | Release Date: Late Summer

He's been compared to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, labeled the savior of the blues and hailed as rock'n'roll's next great ax man. And it's all justified. After sharpening his skills in the Austin scene as a teen, Gary Clark Jr. ( @garyclarkjr) had his breakout performance playing alongside Eric Clapton and Sheryl Crow at Clapton's Crossroads Festival in 2010. A deal with Warner followed, and last year's "Bright Lights" EP bowed atop Billboard's Blues chart, attracting rave reviews and landing on many best-of lists. Now comes the LP. Details are sparse, but Warner reps confirm that Clark is writing now and plans to spend the spring on the road-including a stop at Coachella-before cutting the album in early summer.
