Video Q&A: Justin Bieber Dreams On

"I'm basically living out of a suitcase," says Justin Bieber. Life has definitely changed in the past few months for the 15-year-old pop singer, who was plucked from obscurity in Canada when his online videos started to draw views by the millions.

"I started YouTube after I was in a singing competition," Bieber explains. "It turned out that people started liking it…so I just kept posting more videos."

Bieber's manger, Scooter Braun, flew him down to Atlanta to meet with prospective labels, and after a bidding war between two of his biggest idols -- singers Justin Timberlake and Usher -- Bieber signed with the latter and Island Records and dropped his debut single, "One Time," this summer. The song has since climbed to No. 45 on Billboard's Hot 100.

"It's just a fun pop record, and it's a song that the girls definitely like," says Bieber, whose debut album is in the works for a fall release.

Watch Bieber talk about his fast-tracked success and perform covers of Kanye West's "Heartless" and Timberlake's "Cry Me a River."
