Powerman 5000

Comments

Rockford, Ill., Columbus, Ohio, Detroit, Mich., Cheboygen, Mich., Cleveland, Ohio, Philadelphia, Hartford, Conn... it's mid-tour and it's all starting to blur together. Each show and town definitely has its own vibe but, honestly, I'm starting to get a little burnt out. I can never seem to get enough rest and I'm starting to fall into a ridiculous schedule of staying awake until 7 a.m., sleeping until 3 p.m. and waking up exhausted. Poor, me... Don't you feel sorry for me?

Okay, I'll stop complaining now because if there's one thing people hate it?s a cry-baby rock star. Just ask Billy Corgan.

So, looking back over the week there were some memorable moments... Harpo's in Detroit is always a trip. Anyone who has been there has a Harpo's story. Unfortunately, most of those stories involve getting stabbed, shot or having their car stolen. Good times...

On the flipside we played a quaint little town called Cheboygen (yeah, I've never heard of it either). There was this weird chick in the front row who kept punching me in the leg. She just wanted me to notice that she was pulling out her big, floppy boobs for me. Cool, I can appreciate that, but when you try to untie my shoes mid-song that's where I draw the line... sorry, you gotta go! God Bless Cheboygen. See you next year.

11 more shows to go... Stay tuned!
