Josh Turner,  "Haywire" (MCA Nashville)
Release Date: February 9, 2010

Josh Turner bowed on MCA Nashville in 2003 with a platinum debut album, "Long Black Train," and has since proved to be one of country's most consistent young hitmakers. His new set, "Haywire," is Turner's first deluxe package. "We were able to include live concert audio for 'Long Black Train' and 'Your Man' as well as two previously unreleased songs," says Turner, who co-wrote six tracks. 'Let's Find a Church' was recorded during the 'Long Black Train' sessions. I wanted it to be on the first record but we didn't have enough room. [My wife] Jennifer and I were engaged and it was kind of like an anxious-to-get-married song." "Haywire" was produced by Frank Rogers, who has helmed Turner's three previous albums, and the set's lead single is "Why Don't We Just Dance." The new album "goes a little deeper about love and relationships" than previous records, Turner says. "I also challenged myself vocally more than I have in the past, and the songs on this album called for it."
