Joe Bonamassa
Now twenty years into his career, blues-rocker Joe Bonamassa has built his audience the old fashioned way: through songwriting playing live. The veteran guitarist will be spending the rest of 2010 on a world tour, but before you see him -- and before you can hear it anywhere else -- Billboard.com has the exclusive stream of his new album, "Black Rock," a full week before you can buy it on March 23 (pre-order it here).
"Black Rock," Bonamassa's tenth album, features both a number of songs he has penned as well as his renditions of blues and rock classics from Leonard Cohen's "Bird On A Wire" and Otis Rush's "Three Times A Fool." One of the album's centerpieces is Bonamassa's duet with B.B. King on Willie Nelson's "Night Life."
Bonamassa has hit No. 1 on Billboard's Blues Albums chart with each of his last three studio albums -- 2006's "You And Me," 2007's "Sloe Gin," and 2009's "The Ballad Of John Henry."
