You know The Edge for jamming it out as the guitarist, keyboardist and main backing vocalist for U2. Now, the Irish rocker is giving fans deeper insight into his musicianship in Davis Guggenheim's upcoming documentary, "It Might Get Loud," which features three master of the instrument -- Edge, Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and The White Stripes' Jack White -- from different generations.

"I drive everyone crazy. I drive myself totally crazy trying to get the sound that I can hear in my head to come out of the speakers," Edge says in this exclusive clip from the film. "It's my voice. That is my voice -- what's coming out of the speaker."

"It Might Get Loud" took two years to film and began as the idea of producer Thomas Tull ("The Dark Knight," "300"), chairman of Legendary Pictures. Tull, who collects guitars and amplifiers and often gets together with friends for blues jam sessions, was also inspired by the popularity of video games such as "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band" and decided to team with Guggenheim for his first piece.

"It Might Get Loud" will be released on Aug. 14 in Los Angeles and New York.
