At the stroke of midnight on January 1, revelers around the world wearing ridiculous hats will join arms with their loved ones and try to sing "Auld Lang Syne." We say "try" because, despite the fact that the Scottish song was composed more than 200 years ago, no one really seems to know the words. (Which makes sense, as most of us only attempt to sing it only once a year, in intoxicated states where remembering our own names is enough of a challenge.)

In an effort to start 2011 off on the right notes, we've assembled videos of a few artists who do know the words to the song, and sing them well.
