Legendary rap collective the Wu-Tang Clan will return as headliners of the touring Rock the Bells hip hop festival and perform its debut album, "Enter the 36 Chambers," in its entirety. The 4-date tour kicks off on Aug. 21 in Los Angeles and includes stops in New York City, Mountain View, Calif. and Columbia, Maryland.

Other rap luminaries set to perform classic albums from start to finish at Rock the Bells include Rakim doing "Paid in Full", KRS-One doing Boogie Down Production's "Criminal Minded" and Slick Rick revisiting "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick." Other artists on the bill are Street Sweeper Social Club (the collaboration between The Coup's Boots Riley and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello), Murs & 9th Wonder, Wiz Khalifa and Clipse, among others.

An internet rumor that Lauryn Hill, the reclusive, Grammy-winning former member of the Fugees, would be one of the festival's headliners and perform her only major solo album, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," in its entirety, was not borne out by the festival announcement, but the event's website promises "Surprise Performances."

Information about tickets and the full lineup is available at rockthebells.net.
