Sarah McLachlan, Mary J. Blige To Headline 2010 Lilith Tour

Sarah McLachlan will headline the main stage at Lilith 2010, the reborn touring music festival which highlights women in music that she co-founded in the 1997. Among the artists joining Mclachlan on the road will be Mary J. Blige, Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Colbie Caillat, Ke$ha, Tegan and Sara, Miranda Lambert and Metric.

As previously reported, Lilith Fair will re-launch in 2010 visiting cities around the United States and Canada including New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto and Chicago, among others. Dates for the shows have not yet been announced. The festival is also expected to make a two week run through Europe and the U.K.

Other musicians confirmed for the 2010 tour include A Fine Frenzy, Indigo Girls, Emmylou Harris, Chairlift, Jill Scott, Sugarland, Brandi Carlile, Sara Bareilles, Zee Avi and The Weepies.

Lilith Fair reported 104 shows to Billboard Boxscore from 1997-1999 that grossed $52,937,965 and drew 1,616,500 people. The shows featured a wide range of acts including Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Dixie Chicks, Erykah Badu, Sinead O'Connor and Me'shell Ndegeocello, among others.
