Rap legends Public Enemy will preview their upcoming album "Most of My Heroes Still Don't Appear on No Stamp" at this year's Movement Electronic Music Festival held over Memorial Day weekend in Detroit.

The troupe will join Chicago house music DJ/producer Lil' Louis, France's Mr. Oizo and Detroit techno luminaries The Wizard aka Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig and others. Lil' Louis will close out the 12-year-old festival's opening night on May 26, with Public Enemy performing May 27 and The Wizard wrapping things up on May 28.

Movement -- which drew a record 99,282 fans to Detroit's Hart Plaza in 2011, according to promoters Paxahau -- announced a first batch of 53 performers, with more to be added later. Festival artist coordinator Chuck Flask said that, "Our lineup for 2012 is comprised of artists who are innovators in their own right and who have deep roots within the underground worlds of their respective musical genres. With Movement, our goal is always to book artists who represent the purest form of the music we all fell in love with, whether they have been doing it for decades, or are an emerging talent new on the scene. With this announcement, we are well on our way to achieving our goal."

Tickets for Movement are on sale now at www.Movement.us <http://www.Movement.us> . A three-day pass is $75, while a VIP pass is $200. This year's bash will feature five stages, art exhibits and an interactive technology center, as well as an array of after-parties and, most likely, some special events on May 25, the night before Movement starts.

Movement's full initial lineup includes: Brenmar, Busy P, Carl Craig, Carlo Lio, Cassy, Claude VonStroke, Damian Lazarus, Danny Daze, Davide Squillace, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, dOP, Droog, Earl Mixxin' McKinney, Eddie Fowlkes, Greg Wilson, Ian Pooley, Jay Haze, Josh Wink, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Keys N Krates, Kyle Hall/Jay Daniels, Lil' Louis, Lindstrøm, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Major Lazer, Mathew Jonson, Marco Carola, Mark Farina (Mushroom Jazz set), Maya Jane Coles, Michael Mayer, Mike Huckaby, Monty Luke, Mr. Oizo, Nadastrom, Nina Kraviz, No Regular Play, Public Enemy, Radio Slave, Rick Wilhite, Roni Size, Salva, Slow Hands, Stacey Pullen, Steve Bug, Subb-an, Tale of Us, the Martinez Brothers, The Wizard aka Jeff Mills, Todd Terje and Wolf + Lamb.
