Monsters of Folk

M. Ward, My Morning Jacket's Jim James, and Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis came together as Monsters of Folk for a pair of New York shows last week, including a Friday night gig uptown at the United Place Theater. Friday's performance found the quartet performing many of the songs from their new self-titled album. Click below to see a slideshow of the suit-wearing, nattily dressed group in the plush, velvet draped setting.
